Top 4 St. Patrick’s Day Drinks
I am personally not Irish, however; I have many family members that are (from the other side of their family). Therefore, they all celebrate this holiday in a ‘go big or go home’ fashion. So, I scanned the internet to come up with the top four drinks for St. Patrick’s day festivities. Drinker beware: if you’re anything like me, it will on take one, maybe two, of these to get you over the limit.

If you are into festive colors these drinks are made with you in mind!
St. Patrick’s Day Drink 1: Emerald Rain
This one is beautiful in color and high in alcohol content! It is so pretty I almost didn’t want to drink it for fear of ruining it.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz of Hpnotiq
- 1 oz of Vodka (your choice of brand)
- ¼ of lime (freshly squeezed).
Shake all the ingredients together thoroughly in a shaker with ice. While it is common to pour and serve in a chilled cocktail glass, it isn’t mandatory. Chilled is usually better though.
St. Parick’s Day Drink 2: Honeydew Melon
This is another very beautiful drink. This one was a little too fruity/citrusy for me though.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz of Midori
- ½ oz of Triple Sec
- 3 oz Vodka (brand of your choosing)
Fill your shaker about halfway with crushed ice–while crushed is preferred it isn’t a necessity. Solid cubes will work as well. Pour the ingredients in and shake very well. Pour/strain into a chilled glass–cocktail is preferred as well, but again, not necessary. If you want to add a garnish, a slice of orange works great.
If you prefer something not so colorful or festive, these drinks are for you!
St. Patrick’s Day Drink 3: Irish Hammer
This one is a “parts” drink. Therefore, you can make them single or even make a pitcher to pour from.
Ingredients:
- I part Irish Cream
- 1 part Jack Daniel’s
- 1 part Irish Mist
Shake all the liquors together thoroughly in a shaker with ice. Pour/strain into a shot glass. Very simple drink to make.
St. Patrick’s Day Drink 4: Irish Cola
This one is exactly as it sounds; an Irish Cola!
Ingredients:
- I oz Jameson’s Irish Whiskey
- 1 oz Bailey’s
- 4 oz Cola (diet does not mix well with the flavors!)
Fill your shaker will some ice and our in the Jameson’s and Bailey’s. Shake thoroughly until it is nice and chilled. Pour/strain into a glass and add your cola.
These are sure to be hits at your St. Patrick’s Day celebration. While some are colorful and festive while others aren’t, they are all delicious and traditional. Sit back, have some fun, and enjoy. Please remember to drink responsibly as well.
